SWELL COMPOSITES

Entropy Resins 🇺🇸

Entropy Resins are based upon plant-based formulations, utilizing SUPER SAP® technology. They are used extensively in the product of snowboards, surfboards, paddleboards, sailboards, skateboards, kiteboards, ice hockey sticks, and other kinds of sporting equipment.

Using Entropy Resins reduced the carbon footprint by employing green chemistry techniques that require less energy and produce less harmful byprodoucts. The greenhouse gas emissions for the production of the epoxy is reduced 33% over conventional petroleum-based epoxies.

The raw materials going into Entropy Resins epoxy and hardeners are co-products or waste products of other industrial processes. These materials do not compete with food sources or displace food-based agriculture. Using an international standard method of radiocarbon dating, the renewable content of products can be verified.

Marko Foam Blanks 🇺🇸

GLOBAL LEADER IN EPS SURFBOARD BLANKS - Our EPS Foam is 100% recyclable, more durable, safer to shape and better performing.

MADE IN USA: Our foam is made and molded at our facilities in salt lake city, utah. The molded blanks or block cuts are shipped to irvine, ca facility where stringer application and final cuts take place.

SUSTAINABILITY: Unlike polyurethane blanks (pu), our eps foam can be made from recycled materials. Our enviro-foam is made from 25% recycled materials (our scraps, your scraps).

FUSION: With foam, quality is found within fusion. Having a high fusion rate is the key to making the best surfboard blank. A poorly fused blank can compromise the integrity and strength of the blank and finished board.
